OVERALL VIEW OF THE JOB
The Accountant is mainly in charge of managing account receivable customer files & records, and monitoring customer account details. This role also requires knowledge of accounts payable to handle payable accounts related to sales costs. He/ She has to guide and support the Client Service team to complete payment documents that follow the company&039;s process. They are also responsible for tax management and documentation maintenance.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Communicate with the Client Service department to give advice & support them in completing payment documents
• Check supplier’s contracts, invoices, and internal approval form
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Handle payable accounts related to the cost of sales
• Negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues
• Prepare debit notes, invoices, and check the evidence before sending them to customers
• Assist with month-end closing
• Complete required reports in a timely manner
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
• Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash & bank payment, etc.
• Prepare monthly tax report
• Check & record office contract and other related documents
• Other works related to accounting tasks as assigned
• Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
