Mô tả công việc

• Responsible for the execution of all operations tasks within the Station on time and on plan to support our Customers success. Has direct people responsibility for the IMP and EXP Operational teams within the Station
• Drive and optimize district related Air Freight pricing and procurement activities
• Steer local core carrier program in line with global strategy
• Conduct frequent carrier performance meetings
• Enhance existing product offerings and develop new ones
• Support commercial teams in delivering product solutions exceeding customer expectations
Product Management
• Identify market trends, opportunities and customer needs, supported by input from product and commercial colleagues in area and region. Initiate appropriate actions to materialise these opportunities – including new product development. This will require close collaboration with the commercial colleagues
• Own the execution of global initiatives and strategy within the district
• Support the district organisation with Air Freight expertise and build bridges between Product, Operations and Commercial.
• Actively engage in tender selection and support the Regional Tender Team with input to their quotations
• Support the organization in delivering outstanding customer service by the right product offering and carrier service consistency
• Deliver input to global strategy and direction as active member of the Air Freight community
Carrier Management / Procurement
• Execute on Air Freight procurement strategy. Drive cost reductions by optimal allocation with carriers and contracts.
• Maximise VID pay-out by driving core carrier adherence in the district
• Support the Global Air Freight team in maintaining carrier relations. Act as first line of escalation in case of service failures and rate disputes
Pricing Management
• Country responsibility for Air Freight Pricing activities incl but not limited to Price setting / Strategy / Margins
• Ensure fully up-to-date GPM system
• Support the District Head of Air Freight Pricing with local market insights to set rates for sales and global tenders
Performance Management
• Drive district performance improvements
• Own volume growth and margin optimisation initiatives
• Manage the operational activities in the Station
Optimise trade lane performance in close collaboration with other functions and overseas colleagues.
Operation Management
• Operations Execution – Responsible for the execution all operations tasks on time and on plan to support our Customers success in a lean and cost-efficient manner; Ensuring team adheres to the standard process and customer specific IOP’s and monitors respective KPI’s
• Standard processes – Implementation of standard processes and systems within the District and ensuring documentation is in place; Accountable for the implementation of The Standard = The Standard within the station
• Product profitability - Focus on maximize the revenue and GP to Damco through upselling and cost management
• People Management - Coach, motivate and build a high performing team. Lead by example, inspire and energize their team; Support on-boarding new members; Set clear objectives and guide team to achieve targets and performance standards; Attract, develop and retain talent
Customer Relationship Management - Actively build strong relationships with customers; Own customer experience

• Ability to engage and link multiple parties across functions and geographies
• Ability to understand and interpret performance data
• Strong customer focus
• English written and spoken
• Personality: passionate, result oriented, self-starter, well-structured, professional
