App Developer (OOP, Flutter, Java)

About the role
For this role we are looking for a talented application developer to spearhead our application development process and support the maintenance of our existing apps.

What you will achieve
You will…
• Improve our overall application development process and continuously find ways to advance our apps
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure applications align with the organization’s goals, as well as customer needs
• Oversee the performance of applications to ensure they’re always running properly
• Build and maintain both web and mobile applications for our organization

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
• Staying on track of the application lifecycle to ensure necessary updates are completed on time
• Finding solutions to security threats, viruses, or errors that might hinder the performance of applications
• Building software that fulfils specific needs
• Remaining current on technology trends to keep our software as innovative as possible
• Carrying out regular security and performance checks

About you
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent time management
• Critical and analytical thinking skills
• Proficiency with OOP principles in at least one language like C or Java. We are using Dart/Flutter for our mobile and web applications, as such experience with Dart and Flutter is an advantage.
• Minimum six months of proven work experience (professional or otherwise) as an application developer
• Deep understanding of core programming principles, including design
• Skillset allowing to perform app developer tasks independently
Bonus Points (preferred qualifications)
• Certification in application development
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency with project tracking software, such as Azure DevOps
• Experience working as part of a development team
