Application Engineer

- Receiving customers’ requests for products’ information and bidding, reviewing the technical requirements of
customers.
- Designing the companies' products, selecting suitable equipment, datasheet, detailed drawings, technical
requirements and evaluation.
- Directly working with the suppliers on the technical requirements of the product.
- Reviewing and checking the drawings, technical parameters, categorizing equipment provided by the Firms and
the ones purchased outside
- Being responsible for technical consultancy when participating in making quotations and contracts.
- Training other Application engineers in techniques (if needed.
- Tracking and participating in contract performance.
- Tracking production and delivery processes of suppliers.
- Checking the products’ quality before shipping to customers.
- Being in charge of drafting and compiling technical documents as required in the bid proposals.
- Analyzing the drawings, categorizing equipment provided by the Principals or Supplier.
- Searching and suggesting to the supervisors to be able to choose a reputable, qualified supplier with the best
price.
- Following the performance of the contracts and technically supporting promptly.
- Supporting customers in installing, repairing products and spare parts provided by Toan Thang.
- Searching and collecting information of the market and customers.
- Supporting Sales Department in collecting information of the market and customers.
- Consolidating and reporting market information and customers upon requests
- Participating in evaluating equipment prices and proposals for choosing equipment so that can ensure the prices
will not exceed the proposed range.
- Evaluating both prices and content of the trade terms in the quotation of suppliers (if any).
- Performing other tasks as requested by the Company.
- Supporting in the projects and trainings appropriate to the workload and technicality.
- Attending classes / training courses organized by the Company / Principals, being willing to sign training contracts
with the working period committed which is regulated in the Company's regulations when participating in the
training courses.

- Must be a university graduate in engineering field such as instrument & control, electrical, mechatronics, mechanical
or equivalent.
- Have working experience in automated valves and valve selection based on the process data.
- Have work experience in Oil &Gas, Power and Refinery and general industries
- Have a good working attitude
- Be responsible for entering technical data correctly on the system to place order with Principle.
- Be responsible for correctness of technical specifications in the Purchase Order with customers and with
Principles.
- Be responsible for technical preparation in bidding proposal and subsequently technical clarification with
customers in coordination with Principles.
- Be responsible for participating in any technical meetings with customers.
- Be responsible for participating in any product training and technical presentation organized by Principles.
