Aquaculture Laboratory Manager

Belonging to the Research, Development and Licensing Department and reporting directly to Manager of Aqua Development and Technical Support, Warm Water Species, this position has the following key mission:
- To manage the clinical and diagnostic complex area and fine tune its activities
- To set up and ensure the compliance of the Lab with the GCP/GLP/ISO standards (technical, scientific, ethical…)
- To maintain the water recirculation system and the optimal water quality conditions
- To ensure set up and maintenance of SOPs and manage the development of models for trials
- To guarantee the team performances through the management of individuals, definition of the organization and processes
- To build up a technical expertise and to identify the local opportunities for collaboration
- Provide technical support for the Regional Aqua team on request of line manager

. Good writing skills and ability to supervise the redaction of internal scientific reports.
. Extensive working knowledge animal husbandry
. Manage execution showing progress and results orientation
. University degree in Aquaculture/Biotechnology or related fields, ideally MSc/PhD level with international experience (but not compulsory) and experience managing a lab
. Critical thinking skills and project management skills
. Experience in lab quality standards and management of people/budget for lab activities
. Team spirit and cross-functional cooperation
. Experience in diagnostic/disease management
. More than 2 years in an equivalent structure
. Good English skills
