AR Accountant/ Receivable Accountant- Logistics Industry

BOOK KEEPING & REPORTING (50%)
• Prepare AR confirmation for auditing.
• Update bank book and cash book for AR transactions.
• Read, check and reply email for the customers.
• Record bank and cash transaction in accounting systems.
• Find document for tax auditing (if any).
• Update status outstanding balance for local clients for debtor report.
• Performs other duties that will be assigned
• Solve the problem raised by the customers on the invoice and payment.
• Update exchange rate in CW1 daily.
• Scan docs and invoice and send to customer (if required).
• Prepare statement of account for local customer and send the SOA to customer for reminder.
• Filing invoices.
• Treasurer.
ACCOUNTING POLICIES & COMPLIANCES (20%)
• To check all invoices issue correct with debit note.
• Contact and work with other departments/parties for any concerned matters.
• Controlling invoice issuance process
CREDIT CONTROLLER (20%)
• Review and control the customers payment within granted credit term.
• Support in credit application process includes support to prepare and review the credit application.
• Update and provide weekly, monthly aging report.
• Monitor and contact customers for remind debt and debt collection.
SYSTEM SET UP & ADHOC PROJECTS (10%)
• Support Chief accountant on build up policies and standard operation process
• Support Chief accountant & take part in accounting system/processes implementation & improvement
• Review and propose for improvement plan for current processes/practices.

Technical
• Strong accounting background, AR analysis and have tax knowledge (VAT and e-invoice regulation)
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
• Sound knowledge in Logistics/Forwarding service
• Experience in AR controlling senior levels for at least 3-4 years
• Time management skills, organizational skills and problem solving skills
• Professional skills in CW1 are preferred.
