Key Responsibilities
An exciting Asia Operation Manager job has arisen in a leading furniture firm in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
About this Asia Operation Manager Role
- Assessing project and resource requirements
- Implement necessary improvements to the continuous quality testing and monitoring processes for received goods, products in process and final products
- Oversee production activities at Vendors – mainly in Vietnam but also looks after small operation in India & China
- Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
- Planning and organising production schedules
- In charge of the production planning, overseeing production processes, coordination and quality control of furniture manufacturing processes in the production sites
- Visit current and future suppliers to foster business relationships
- Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and suppliers
- Examine, resolve, and document non-compliance cases that are reported
- Supervise and track the production worldwide to follow up with head office
In order to succeed in this role, certain level of knowledge in furniture as well as good communication skills are required.

- Five to seven years of experience in furniture industry
- Good knowledge of various factories/vendor contacts in Vietnam
- Good communication skills in English & good planning skills
