Job summary: Assist to provide all aspects of commercial and quantity surveying activities in a luxury hotel resort development project in Phu Yen, Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist to provide all aspects of quantity surveying and contract administration services including cost estimate, cost control, tender documentation, and settlement of final accounts
•Assist to collect possible tenderers list, acquire contractor/consultant capability and performance information, guide pre-qualification process, and prepare recommendation reports;
•Assist to prepare tender documents and manage tendering stages for consultants, contractors, suppliers, service providers. This task includes tender prequalification, tender queries/ clarifications, interviews, price negotiations, tender assessment reports, tender award.
•Handle in preparation and review of draft contracts/agreements, assessment of variations, measurement, payments, estimating and cost control
•Assist to review and process payment progress, ensure that works are properly coordinated and carried out following contractual obligations and the Clients' instructions.
•Monitor performance of external QS consultant
•Provide in-house QS function
•Review all consultant submitted cost estimates, cost plans and cost reconciliations.
•Maintain proper coordination among different internal teams
•Ensure all construction and costs fall within the budget, and make effective cost-control recommendations.
•Cooperate with design team and QS consultant to develop and manage VE list
•Monitor and report on market costs (e.g., concrete, rebar, glass, aluminum, etc)
•Liaise with internal legal on all legal matters if required.
•Assist in preparing weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports if required.
•Other tasks as requested by line manager.

Yêu cầu công việc

Education Required:
•University Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying
•Fluent in English.
Required Skills/Experience:
•Has been directly involved from start until completion of the design and construction of at least ten mixed use projects or hotels/resorts over 100,000 sqm in floor area.
•At least 4 years’ experience working for or with foreign invested or foreign real estate development companies.
•Must be proficient in the use of Computer, MS Office, MS Project. Having experience with Cost-X is a bonus.
•Experience with Aconex, Asite, Conject or any similar Project Management system is preferred.
•Good communication skills (oral and written) are a must.
•Knowledge in use of computer spreadsheets, database, word processing, Autocad, document management systems.
•Knowledge of Vietnam regulations and FIDIC and Vietnamese contract forms and all related documents for processing contracts and payments.
•Ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports.
•Ability to use computer and rapidly input data and retrieve records and information.
•Traveling to other cities in Vietnam as required
Other requirements:
• Role is Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm but must be able to work for extended hours of the night and even during Saturdays and Sundays as required by the Project.
• This job requires to base at the project site, therefore, local Quy Nhon/Phu Yen people is preferable. Or, must be able to relocate to Quy Nhon or area near site in Phu Yen province.
• Must be able to travel to HCMC for regular meetings with Commercial Manager and team.
