Summary of Responsibilities:
The Assistant Manager, Sales Strategy and Planning role will be primarily responsible for assisting the Distribution Strategy and Planning Director with all aspects related to sales planning and strategy.
Job holder will undertake assignments / projects related but not limited to sales planning, sales compensation, sales incentives / contests, trips, competition benchmarking. He/She will be responsible for contributing in as and when required and will be responsible for delivering projects on time and on budget.
Core Responsibilities:
•Sales planning & strategy
-Ensure sales/incentive compensation programs support sales strategic objectives and comply with internal compliance requirements
-Contribute in the design and implementation of all aspects of sales/incentive, trips and contests, compensation planning, design & administration focused on the agency channel
-Providing initiative on compensation initiatives and interactions with senior management- Jointly Manage competitive compensation practices that support the business strategy
-Document, recommend & ensure effective sales compensation process controls.
-Review the mapping of sales hierarchy and communicate the final mapping to Director strategy & CDO for approval.
-Jointly lead the completion of major compensation projects, sales compensation strategy & plan redesign, competitive market research, survey management, job classification reviews, and implementation of new compensation tools and systems/platforms for agency channel
-Design, develop and manage the distribution recognition programs (quarterly and annual CEO awards) for sales for both bancas and agency
•Cross functional tasks:
-Distribution’s project: be the contact point to work closely with HR, Product, OP, IT, legal and compliance teams in all matters related to sales policies and sales force support and enablement and other projects like renewal collection, maturity retention from time to time
-Provide inputs on improving sales force enablement by adopting digital / new age solutions like e-learning, branch engagement system, activity management and lead management and sales portals for agency and bancas channel
-Own, organize and update on the monthly business development group meeting, Striker’s meeting and other sales forums
