Associate Laboratory Manager

• Oversee routine implementation of the practical laboratory testing protocols, innovations, checking weekly quality control checks from respective section heads, monitoring of all instruments for proper working, on board kits, stored reagents, control material and supply of all the said materials from vendors or distributors in a timely and regular manner in association with the respective section heads
• Manage and maintain laboratory spaces (especially hematology, coagulation, electrophoresis and ELISA), staffing and facilities and monitor the facilities to identify scope for improvement and implementation of any required changes on timely and swiftly manner in accordance with the Laboratory Director.
• Liaise with and provide ongoing technical guidance to associated lab dependent verticals in company like customer care, PSC, nursing staff, doctors whenever required.
• Ensure seamless m of maintenance of laboratory equipment and seamless supply of laboratory consumables, reagents and kits as well as managing of the in-house laboratory supplies store with maintenance of stock records. This should be weekly with SH and Lab Operations associate and monthly with procurement and finance teams.
• Making and maintain manpower roster for all staff and adjusting in emergency situations their Rota.
• Weekly meetings with Section Head, Lab manager, Laboratory Head and Laboratory Director for discussing glaring issues and long-term plans and documenting the meetings
• Other task is given by the company.
• Achieving 100 % KPI as per company and Lab Director’s vision.

• A master’s degree in biomedical science or laboratory technical field or any other relevant subject.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in managing and operating laboratories across different disciplines, including hematology, clinical chemistry, immunoassay, clinical pathology, special chemistry, microbiology, 
• Exceptional leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience of managing people including performance management and staff development.
• Experience of running maintenance programs for both general and highly specialized equipment.
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills especially English and Vietnamese (preferably)
• Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse and demanding increasing workload.
• Capable to multitask, work proactively and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work as part of a team and a leader of the team.
