JOB PURPOSE
To assist Marketing & Communications Manager in planning and supervising marketing and communications operations to achieve business strategic priorities. The role will help to lead and manage of a team within Marketing & Communications department of BUV, he/her must motivate and extract results from team members and responsible for the outcome.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Marketing Management
•Provide short and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
•Maintain research database by identifying and assembling marketing information.
•Create marketing strategies and execute marketing campaign in coordination with Collaborate with sales and Marketing PR team.
•Provide feedback into product development and service offers; participates in the development of product and service offers; collaborate to create, launch and track performance of product and service offerings in our markets.
•Ensure that brand guidelines are adhered to in all marketing activities across the company.
•Evaluating the performance of campaigns and troubleshooting those that underperform.
•Monitoring and improving BUV website.
•Managing third-party vendors.
•Achieve the Marketing Enquiries and enrolment target.
•Oversee the supervision of staff which includes work allocation, training and problem solving.
•Review and evaluate the performance of subordinates in the exercise of their responsibilities to ensure co-ordinated staff effort in meeting the goals of the University.
•Undertake any other assignments as delegated by Line manager and/or the Chief Operating Officer.
2.Public Relations Management
•Develop PR strategies and execute campaigns and initiatives to improve public perception of BUV.
•Maintain and manage BUV corporate image and identity, which includes the use of logos and signage.
•Develop and maintain strong relation with media, manage media enquiries, seek high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
•Establish effective internal communications strategy to ensure employees of BUV are kept informed and motivated and to build BUV culture.
•Plan and execute flawless events through managing all aspects of event coordination including but not limited to budgeting, event and program messaging, materials creation, signage/giveaways, contract negotiation, vendor relations, site selection, accommodations, participant registration, agenda scheduling, staffing, on-site production, F&B, and logistics…
•Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
•Plan the content strategy, generate targeted media coverage and social communications content through storytelling and the development of creative PR programs; write effective press releases, prepare information for media kits and develop and maintain company internet web pages; draft speeches and keynote presentations for company executives and arrange interviews and other forms of contact for them.
•Perform in-depth research to support communications and messaging Negotiate contracts vendors to meet business needs and manage costs.
•Undertake any other assignments as delegated by Line manager and/or the Vice Chancellor and President
•Contributes to the overall success of the University by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
