Back End Developer (PHP)

Description / Summary
Responsible for the strategic implementation of software using relevant programming techniques and languages, and development/maintenance of the company internal systems and internet/web solution.
Work closely with and report to the Sr. Software Development Engineer and support them in managing the team and work flow by leading and coaching team members.
Job duties and responsibility

Read and understand technical specifications
Research, learn and write new software language to meet the need of any given project.
Support to create test plans and scripts, carry out bugs testing, identify defects and fix them where they were discovered or required.
Develop Web for Back End.
Perform and develop quality programming and coding to written technical specifications, using relevant programming language.
Contribute to the technical direction and architecture of the software
Responsible for trouble-shooting application related issues and ensuring/ maintaining high performance and browser compatibility
Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
Support in writing and maintaining documentation of software functionality

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of PHP, MySQL, MVC model
Excellent logical thinking ability
Good at research and work under pressure
Good level of English skills
Experience using source code control systems, such as Git
Minimum 2 year of relevant work experience is required
Experienced in web development, UI and usability understanding
University/ College graduate in software engineering or relevant field
Excellent knowledge of Codeigniter 3
Good at problem solving, collaboration and communication skills

Bonus skills

Have a good knowledge about Linux (Ubuntu)
Proven experience with object-oriented design and design patterns.
Have experience with or a basic understanding of Front-End development.
Always be striving to take your skills to the next level.
Have Experience using HTML5 & CSS3
Strong understanding of HTTP/REST/API architectures.
Good project management and documentation skills.
