Battery - Cell Development Manager (Expat)Urgent job

• Understand and adhere to program timeline
• Create report, comprehensive technical specifications, drawing and DFMEA
• Work closely with external suppliers, vendors, national labs, and academic institutions.
• Analyze, design, develop and validate cell components, assemblies, specification of next generation cell.
• Assist engineering-level test builds together with quality and operations personnel at manufacturing facilities.
• Analyze the statistical data of electrode & cell quality.
• Co-orperate with other groups/ department to understand the failure modes, performance and life expectancy of lithium-ion cells.
• Analyze and evaluate chemical and electrochemical data to determine direct and interaction effects of the materials under evaluation and execute root-cause analysis of failures and appropriate action incurred over course of development and launch
• In charge of developing and executing Design of Experiments for fabrication and testing of next generation cells.

Job requirement:
• Self-starting, highly organized capable of identifying opportunities and taking responsibility for project implementation.
• Excellent analytical skills, data analysis and statistical interpretation
• Hands-on experience with developing technical specifications for assemblies and validation of Li-ion battery cells.
• Prefer to have the R&D and Product Development experience in Lithium-ion battery cells in global major battery enterprises or OEM & Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical equipment
• Resourceful, organized, with strong attention to detail and excellent interaction skills, capable of rapidly integrating observations and results into subsequent development activities
• Solid experience with electrochemical characterization e. g. cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy, cycle life testing, and abuse testing
• Good at analytical chemistry
Plus
• Over 10 years lithium ion cell development experience
• Advanced knowledge of production processes in the area of EV and battery is a plus.
• Understanding on R&D, Pilot-line & Manufacturing
• High Energy Cell Design & Product Development using Silicon Anode Material
• Cylindrical Cell Design (18650, 21700)
