Business Analyst

Lead in gathering detailed user requirements
Works closely with technical developers as needed
Configures applications and interprets functionality for business users
Documents functional and technical specifications for new requirements and application configuration
Review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and assist with developing strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems  
Interacts regularly and directly with various business groups and users to understand and analyse business problems in an effort to lead toward viable solutions
Provides end-user support to a diverse, non- IT-technical and non- IT-infrastructure user base
Write and deliver progress reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in IT applications across the organization 
Perform other related duties as requested by management
Create models, use cases, process flows, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to developers and designers.
Design reports and Dashboard layout
Assists with the implementation of SOL, and FOMS modules
Documents and communicates changes throughout the user organization, supporting change management and compliance
Identifies and leads functional and business process improvements to support future growth
Documents user manuals
Provides training for end-users as needed

BA in Computer Science
Masters is a plus
3 to 4 years of related experience.
