Business Data Analyst Manager

The Manager, Business Data Analyst (DA) will participate in the regular catchup with stakeholders to understand the changes on the business side and their data needs. Proactively monitor the trends in the existing reports and develop new business insights. Work together with data engineers and other analysts to explore new opportunities for analytics and take actions to drive analytical projects to support other departments decision-making with data.

The role as a gatekeeper for an organization’s data so stakeholders can understand data and use it to make strategic business decisions. He/she possesses the technical skills necessary for data mining, hygiene and analysis, along with interpersonal skills to tell completing stories with data that empower organizational leaders to make better, more informed decisions.

Key Tasks

• Work closely with all various business units to gather business requirements and prioritize information needs.
• Design and implement visualizations (in BI tool) in response to business needs from relational databases and other source systems
• Acquire data from multiple data sources, understand and maintain the flow of data from across functions
• Analyze requirements or concepts, and propose viable solutions that bring high value for business
• Work closely with the Data development team/Data Engineers to build and make an automation data report
• Identifying, analyzing, and understanding trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Defining process improvement opportunities
• Review data and dashboard periodically to make sure all reports be up-to-date and accuracy.
• Proactively monitor the trends in the existing reports and develop new business insights
• Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to stakeholders a visual display of quantitative information.
• Deriving insights from data using statistical techniques
• Optimizing statistical efficiency and quality

• BA/BS in Information Technology or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in data analyst or a similar field
• The ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders in order to determine solutions that will benefit the business
• Can-do attitude to embrace new changes and challenges in order to solve challenging yet stimulating problems of the business
• Demonstrated progress management and planning skills.
• Data visualization and presentation skills
• Strong communication skills
• Pro in analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and reporting accuracy
• Fluency with emerging technologies and data frameworks
• SQL/CQL, R, and Python experience
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies
