Purpose of this position:

Identify, select, and evaluate new products to add in portfolio of sales team based on market attractiveness, current capabilities, and strategies. Liase with regional & local departments.

Engage in preparing & presenting business proposal to Manufacturers (brand plan, financial proposal), contract negotiation, preparation, and management.

Build industry contacts, keep updated with market trends (brand acquisition, new launch of multinational pharma companies) for business strategy purposes.
Responsibilities:
1. New Business Development
1.1. Support the BD director, including liaising with regional team, Head of Sales & Marketing, and other local department personnel to prepare business proposals, including:

Evaluation of market (including conducting a mini-market research to understand competitors, key market decision makers, study scientific literature) brand potential (understanding of disease, prescription, regulatory status, sales performance, competitor analysis)

Sales forecast

Marketing plan (unique selling point of brand, strategy in different market segments) team allocation (size, geography, cost)

Transfer price; Business integration plan; P&L
1.2. Actively engage in the negotiation of contract. Contribute to contract preparation & management.
1.3. Engage in business integration to Commercial Solutions (marketing) team: cascade contract commitment, team recruitment, P&L transfer, marketing plan
2. Clients Retention
2.1. Engage in business performance review with Clients
2.2. Lead or assist in contract renewal negotiations
2.3. Present new products, services, and enhance existing relationships.
2.4. Work with regional and support commercial solution personnel and other internal colleagues to meet Client needs.
3. Business Development Planning
3.1. Identify portfolio pipeline (products) for ZP, taking into account market situation and ZP’s existing capabilities in commercial solutions.
3.2. Study existing Clients’ portfolio performance and pipeline to identify potential business for ZP.
3.3. Identify and reach out to potential new clients and convert these contacts into additional ZP’s business. Actively grow, maintain, and leverage a solid network of relevant industry connection.
3.4. Be aware of changing business trends and regulations which may impact ZPV or its Clients. Work on proactive strategies to benefit from business/regulation changes.
3.5. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
4. Others
Fill in monthly/weekly/quarterly files for the regional team

Track and record activity on capabilities of ZP commercial solutions team (coverage, plans, team size)
