Business Development Manager - Wind Energy

Originate and Develop new Business Opportunities
Prepare financial models to assess the returns of the project
To support management in the desktop research and assessment of new wind energy opportunities (including M&A deals).
Negotiate the relevant Transaction Agreements
Prepare regular updates and progress reports to Management
Maintain strong working relationships with Lenders, Consultants, Provincial and State governmental units and agencies (e.g. MOIT, EVN).
Keep informed of the Market, Legal and Regulatory developments that has an impact on the renewable energy sector.
Obtain all necessary project permits and licenses needed for the Transaction
Manage the Legal and Technical Due Diligence process (with the support of the legal and technical consultants.)
Work with Consultants to obtain all necessary project permits and licenses needed for the project execution:
Feasibility Study, EIA, Construction Permits, Land use rights approvals
Master Plan Application, Investment Policy Decision, Business Registration Certificate

Negotiate the relevant Project Agreements such as Grid Connection Agreement, Power Purchase Agreement, Lease Agreement, Engineering Procurement Construction Agreement, Financing Agreements.
Manage and support the Land Acquisition/Compensation process

Having good understanding of the commercial and techno-economic aspects of power projects
Good network in Power/Energy (esp. Renewable Energy) sector.
Certain experience in working with competent authorities (MOIT, EVN and its subsidiaries, etc).
Bachelor Degree in Business Management/Finance/Engineering, Candidates with MBA preferred.
From 5 years business development experience in the Power Industry, 2-3+ years renewable energy experience
Possess good knowledge of the regulatory and legal framework in Vietnam, in particular relating to the power sector
Experience with managing the M&A Transaction Negotiation and Closing Process (Prior success in M&A for power projects is an advantage)
