Cargo Operation Manager

-Planning, management, oversight and control of daily operations requirements related to Cargo Operations, ensuring excellent operational delivery and on-time performance by providing leadership and operational direction where required;
-Ensure the appropriate standards of safety and security are achieved in line with corporate requirements, government legislation;
-Conduct continual review and risk assessment processes on all SOPs and working practices to identify any unsafe practice areas for quality improvement;
-Develop professional relationships with internal and external parties to ensure effective cargo operations;
-Analyze regulations and pending legislation to identify potential impact on company activities and/or facilities and ensure that key information is provided to departments, locations and employees as appropriate;
-Manage the investigation and follow-up of issues, violations and irregularities, reporting findings to the appropriate management and facilitating the implementation of required corrective measures;
-Act as representative and primary contact to local, national and international regulatory agencies in matters involving regulatory compliance;
-Handle critical issues through liaison with station managers, airport authorities and internal departments to effectively deal with situations;
-Maintain effective communication with all external and internal stakeholders connected to the cargo operation, including Customer Service teams, to ensure effective operational delivery;
-Maintain an in-depth knowledge of company operations, documentation, regulating authority requirements, relevant systems and procedures;
-Provide leadership via promoting of team spirit and team work and act as a role model, using your experience and technical expertise to achieve maximum performance and motivation;
-Other duties as assigned by Superior.
