Chief Operating Officer (COO in Hospitality)

The Chief Operating Officer performs one of the most important jobs in a company. You must convert marketing, operational, and administrative plans into reality, and turn what is written on paper into something palpable and measurable. You must transform a vision into a positive economic outcome by performing the actions needed to achieve the goals that have been spelled out by Board of Management.
We are a hotel management & consultant company. This is a joint venture company owned by the most experienced asset management company in Vietnam and a property management company with more than 15 years in hospitality in Danang.
*Tasks and Responsibilities:
• To establish business development plans in line with BOM’s approved strategies.
• To design and implement marketing strategies, plans that promote company brand names.
• To monitor all projects, both operational and financial with sufficient periodic reports prepared and submitted to BOD/BOM.
• To highlight trends that are likely to shape the wants and needs of internal and external customers of the future; lead the organization in exploring business opportunities that create value for the customer while driving profit.
• To operate profitable growth, effective investment in the current and potential contracts/assets and ensures long-term vitality of the business via strategy and effective management
• To set, recommend and implement business strategy, short- and long-term objectives and goals; develops presents and accomplishes approved annual plan and provides leadership for ensuring plans cascade throughout the company business.
• To organize and build up teams that efficiently operate the Company’s business model, with focus on arranging and training of key persons of projects and centralized departments.
• To ensure short-term and long-term implementation plans are in place and executed to support strategy to develop based on qualitative and quantitative analysis that move the business to desired profit and competitive state.

*Educational Qualifications required:
• Minimum 10 years of Hotel General Management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or master degree in hospitality or relevant discipline.
*Skills and Experience required:
• Great analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in property management is preferred.
• Self-motivated, well organized, and results driven professional.
• Experience in developing new hospitality brands is preferred.
• Experience in international hospitality management.
• Experience in developing profitable marketing and sales strategies and implementing plan in hospitality industry.
• Ability to motivate staff.
• Business mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Experience with general management best practices.
• Excellent customer service skills.
