Mô tả công việc

· Provide training to new hires and existing employees on various Continuous improvement practices and initiatives. Work closely with HR Team to establish plant training needs and training calendar.
· Drive Kanban activities.
· Visualization of lean activities on the shop floor. Publishing banners, establishing boards, visual controls on equipment. Create atmosphere where people create / use visual aids. Standardize the Visual controls.
· Manage plant better practices program, liaise with company continuous improvement network for both benchmarking internal and external best practices and roll out in the plant.
· Establish Hoshin Plan / balance score card, align business goals / target with Plant zero loss road map.
· Conduct lean manufacturing assessments/audits and participate in various other audits as per company requirements.
· Attend morning meetings and Key plant meetings, compile plant PDCA action list. Derive losses on ongoing basis and action plan to close the gaps.
· Have good communications with management and fellow workmen. Follow and maintain organization’s SOPs and safe working practices. Comply with any legal, environmental and safety, BRC requirements and/or checks.
· Lead operational Excellence activities in all areas of business through Lean tools such as 5S, TPM, SMED, and VSM.
· Promote quality improvement and corrective actions through continuous improvement approach to achieve the Quality key performance Indicators and targets.
· Lead problem solving projects by training, coaching and facilitating teams to perform effective root cause analysis method.
· Driver kaizen system in the plant. Implement kaizen system, put in place reward and recognition system for Kaizens. Compile savings from Kaizen activities.
· One point contact for all data preparation and generating reports needed for Operation excellence reporting on monthly and periodical basis. Reporting site KPIs, analyze trends and progress, following up SCIP (Site Continuous Improvement Plan)
· Initiate boosting activities for lean manufacturing process and techniques (such as quiz / sessions / Happy Lean hourprogram) to maximize production and minimize spoilage in the manufacturing process
· Liaise with Assistant plant manager roles and responsibility. Act as APM during his absence.
· Liaise with Shift manager roles and responsibility. Act as Shift manager whenever business needs.
· Implement global best practices applicable. Drive Best practices in plant related to manufacturing and non- manufacturing lean activities, report best practices from plant to the sector.
· Drive Area teams (circle teams). Set goals for area teams, ensure area teams meet on regular intervals, and report progress of area teams on regular basis to plant management.
· Create Value stream mapping for plant and identify key focus areas. Establish Zero loss Journey.
· Other reasonable tasks as assignment of Manager/Supervisor.
· Prepare for Shingo assessments, initially internally with a view to this becoming external.
· Speed loss analysis in Can making equipment by analyzing Viscan, and using Minitab tools, highlight the loss area in terms of OEE on periodical basis to the management team.
· Drive Non- manufacturing Lean activities.
· Manage data for downtimes, label change times, breakdowns, and highlight to operation teams and compile action plan from the teams

Yêu cầu công việc

· B.E., B.Tech in Industrial/ mechanical/ production/ operations engineering/business.
· Certified training in Green Belt is required. Certified training in Black belt will be added advantage.
· At least 3 years of relevant experience with a manufacturing company known for its maturity in lean management (automotive, FMCG…).
· Proper understanding on SPC and Data analysis.
· Ability to prioritize workload based upon the plant requirements and objectives. Good Coordination skill and follow-up skills necessary for this role.
· Shop floor / process Layout planning. Visual displays and controls.
· Manufacturing concepts like VSM, SMED, QFD, Process Mapping, waste elimination, 5S, Standard Operating Procedures, problem solving techniques such as 7 QC tools, Why-Why Analysis, 8D Analysis, 7 steps, Normality Test.
· Expertise in implementation of various Core Quality Tools – APQP, P-FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, & Kaizen, Pokayoke, etc.
· A management style heavily orientated to training and coaching. Be creative and proactive contributor on the management team, focused on identifying opportunities to continue improvement.
· Acts with humility and proactively collaborates with others to solve big, cross-functional issues.
· Always looking to challenge the ways things are done and helps others find new ideas to improve performance.
· Able to build trust between, and align, disparate groups across and beyond the organization.
· Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization.
· Have a “can do” attitude and be able to do what it takes to succeed.
· Ready to travel on need basis.
· Proficient English communication, both oral and written.
