Commissioning PTW Officer

Monitor the progress of works executed under an issued PTW to assist with overall schedule and progress against approved program.
Attend in the progress review meetings with subcontractors.
Assure that subcontractor’s personnel are adequately trained in PTW procedures and that works covered by a PTW are conducted in a safe and productive manner.
Make certain that any work activity that requires a PTW is fully understood by all personnel and that PTW are issued to qualified and approved personnel only.
Prepare training matrixes that will satisfy the safety needs for the training of the nominated personnel to obtain approved PTW holder status.
Join in any training required to improve the safe working condition in this project.
Isolate system with commissioning or operational persons and install safety apparatus in accordance with PTW procedure.
Ensure safe isolation/operation of the plant to minimise risk to people, and meet commissioning and operational activities
Other duties as required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Good communication in English skills
First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain same) would be an advantage.
3-5 years of experience relevant to the duties of the position
Experience with commissioning works and the required permit systems are essential
Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
