ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
WISE seeks to hire a Communication and Graphic Design Consultant to work with a web developer on developing an online platform (i.e., website) that communicates information on career pathways and matching compensation packages of ICT jobs (hereinafter referred to as the website). Should be considered as one model of the kind of information to be presented, customized to the Vietnamese market context. He/she will be responsible for preparing and implementing the communication plan for the website and Training Partnership under the guidance of WISE and NIC. He/she will work collaboratively with WISE, NIC, and other members on the following tasks:
Manage communication work
• Work with the 4IR content web-developer and 4IR career development consultant on designing all infographic of the website.
• Edit, create and production of all communication materials for the website :
- Photography: Training partnership activities, events/workshops, documentation, etc.
- Graphic design/illustration: developing communication materials for the website and events/workshops such as: backdrops, standees, posters, stickers, greeting cards, bulletins, etc.
- Video editing/Editorial design: reports, posters, leaflets, flyers, boards, etc.
• Develop and manage the project’s communication channels, including but not limited to website, social media and online platforms;
• Develop and monitor indicators for effective communication and quarterly report on the communication effectiveness;
• Establish and maintain strategic relationship with media networks to ensure the communication message as well as the values and profile of donors and partners credited;
• Support and maintain internal and external communications with project collaborators, implementing agencies, content providers, HR companies, training institutions, and employers that participate in the Training Partnership
• Track the statistics on traffic to the website and social media and make regular reports on the performance of the website and social media to WISE and NIC. Produce and implement detailed proposals for campaigns, workshops, knowledge sharing events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets…) and coordinate with project manager to execute these events.
• Generate newsletters, press releases and produce media reports;
• Manage the development of content, including news, story, photo, knowledge-based article/summary for website and social media channels;
• Collaborate with outsourcing partners to design and produce communication materials, publication and merchandises in compliance with the project’s branding and marking guideline, if needed;
Other duties and responsibilities
• Weekly update with the project manager and other team members about progress.
• Monthly/Quarterly update on Training Partnership’s implementation plan, results, and progress.
• Event update on the progress, results.
The Communication and Graphic Design Consultant will work with a team of professionals of USAID WISE and will report to the Team Leader, Quang Phan.
ACTIVITY DELIVERABLES
• Organize Training Partnership’s events and workshops
• Input to USAID WISE Reports.
• Contents and graphic design for Training Partnership’s website and other social media sites.
