COMPLIANCE & LEGAL MANAGER [BANKING - FINANCE]

+ Coordinate and work closely with Dept Heads in proposing, outlining, and implementing corporate strategy & policy, compliance regulations and procedures.
+ Drive the departments and business units in implementing effective internal controls and risk management framework and promote a strong risk management and compliance culture.
+ Legal training to staff when required to provide concerned people with updated knowledge of relevant legal issues.
+ Responsible for all compliance & legal issues for the company including corresponding with regulators, SBV, etc.
+ Prepare and review contracts, agreements, official and legal documents to ensure their legal compliance.
+ Undertake other assignments as delegated by Supervisor.
+ Prepare coordination with Supervisory Committee and Board of Directors, etc., act as a Chief Compliance Officer
+ Consult and provide other departments of legal advice when necessary.
+ Monitor Company’s compliance with internal policies and applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, listing rules as well as corporate governance
+ Review new product programs for compliance to regulatory and, where relevant, to internal policies; revise/update product programs and credit policies to ensure all are following Laws and company regulations.
+ To assess the impact of new/amended regulations on the business and to present to the Management appropriate steps that may be taken in countering the impact and/ meeting legal requirements.
+ Liaise with regulators and local authorities on legal and compliance issues
+ Proactively assist other departments to deal with relevant authorities, agencies, consultants to protect the company’s interest.

+ Proven hands-on experience in legal check, contracting, documentation for legal purposes, and profound understanding of compliance matters, SBV regulations, Law of Credit Institutions, etc. and relevant regulations
+ At least 5 years of experience in compliance & legal practices preferably in finance & banking
+ Vietnamese national, holder bachelor degree with major in Laws of Commerce
+ Experience in corporate planning & management is an advantage
+ Be mature, proactive, result-driven and professional
+ Fluent in both spoken and written English
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and a strong sense of responsibility and integrity
+ Strong analytical, negotiation and presentation skills
