Content Editor

Our company is seeking a talented Content Editor who will be in charge of assisting our Marketing team in planning, coordinating, reviewing and editing content for all our publication.

In this position, you will work closely with our Marketing Manager to hold primary responsibilities for selecting, drafting and editing all articles or stories for each issue of our website, social media and online publications. To succeed in this role, you should have a good sense making an interesting angle to a story, to juggle all the moving parts of publications as you’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide exceptional, informative and engaging content.

Ultimately, the Editor’s duties are to collaborate with clients and internal teams for performing a variety of editorial tasks, such as writing, editing, and copyediting for all our publications.

*JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

•Develop & manage content for company website and social media platform.

•Plan, proofread, edit and improve content for specialized news page including:

- Suggest stories and generate headline ideas in alignment with targeted audience’s preferences and review page proofs.

- Proofread and edit stories or pieces to improve readability.

- Plan the content idea and script to interview experts in the tourism industry.

- Oversee layout (artwork, design, photography) and check content for accuracy and errors.

•Edit content and oversee design, artwork for company research report.

•Analyze data and analytics, and seek to increase reader engagement and retention.

•Other editorial tasks from manager.

*JOB REQUIREMENT & QUALIFICATIONS

•Bachelor's degree in journalism, linguistics, communications or related field.

•Excellent command of the English language

•Proficient in Microsoft Office and Social Media platforms.

•Hands on experience with basic video editor and other publishing tools (AI, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)

•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

•Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.

•Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

•Have a good sense of language and grammar are necessary.

•Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

•Strong passion for tourism and hospitality field.

•Proven experience in publishing with specific experience in reporting, writing, editing is a plus.
