OBJECTIVE

The Content Marketing Specialist is to propose and execute on creative ideas for content that supports marketing campaigns, social content, web content and other creative asset needs across the full customer funnel and across several target customer personas.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Social Media Management

• Develop a content marketing calendar that aligns with the brand direction and meets the objectives of the business.


• Own day-to-day social media activities, update content editorial calendar, and be responsible for social and content measurement and analysis against defined goals


• Content creation - write short and long form content for social media channels, emails and blogs. Source and manage internal and external resources.


• Analytics - use analytics tools to provide weekly and monthly performance reports accompanied by analysis and insights to improve on those metrics;


• Distribute and syndicate content on all relevant platforms


• Drive traffic and conversion through content marketing

• Website/ Application Management

• Manage the company’s website/ application content


• Collaborate with lines of business, community relations, customer experience/customer service center, to create and manage product content, social news feeds, blog posts, promotional content and other digital projects.


• Utilize Google Analytics and other analytics to provide monthly analytics and analysis and reports.

• Promotion Management

• Devise integrated marketing campaigns, producing detailed proposals for campaigns (e.g. timelines, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets).


• Manage the procedure, implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns and events.


• Brief and oversee the work of internal and external agencies, such as designers, media/branding agencies, who will deliver much of the campaign activity.


• Work within a budget and report any overspend.

• Partner Management

• Build strong relationship with partners.


• Responsible for content managing on the partner’s marketing channels.

REQUIREMENTS: The minimum education, experience and skill sets required for this role include:

• BA degree or higher in marketing and/or communications from an accredited institution.

• At least 2 years of experience as a content marketer in B2B space, ideally with a technical or logistics industry preferred.


• Ability to think creatively and strategically about content

• Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.


• Strong time management and planning skills to manage ongoing demands.
