Content Writer (Upstar Labs)

We are looking for an experienced Content Writer who is looking for the opportunity to become a growth expert at a growing tech start-up.This role will be responsible for making sure the digital content on Katalon websites produced, updated, and accurate. Excellent writing, editing, communications, and interpersonal skills are required. This experience will help you get an in-depth experience in building start-ups in both the Consumer and Enterprise industry. *** Job summary:
- Your main responsibility involves assisting the team to write documentation in English for Katalon’s software products and services. Our documentation includes developer guides, installation guides, user guides, and online help.
- Maintain and update Katalon’s documentation. Manage, proofread, and edit technical materials authored by product experts.
- Analyze content performance and make data-driven decisions to maximize content impact.
- Author blog articles and other materials related to the test automation domain.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Coordinate with the development team, marketing team, and sales team to produce user-friendly documentation and engaging marketing collaterals.
- Work with copywriter to oversee our content calendar to plan content distribution across all channels.
- Work closely with professional writers and software developers to gain a real understanding of software documentation.

*** Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Content writer/editor, or similar role
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage start-up environment
- A knack for channeling different editorial voices, and an understanding of brand audience — what they care about and what they share
- Experience writing and editing copy for digital campaigns
- Willing to work hard and able to learn quickly
- Affinity for writing on technical topics
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or English
- A confident and positive character with good communication skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Innate curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- A flair for brevity. Flawless spelling and grammar
- High standards of excellence and keen attention to detail
- Creative, curious and critical thinking. Performance and result-oriented
- Prior experience in the technology industry is preferred
