Controllership Specialist

JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The Controllership Specialist will help to establish and maintain the integrity of financial data and financial statements, including US GAAP and statutory financial statements and internal financial reporting data. In this role, you will be business partner with business to establish & maintain internal control, process improvement.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Act key contact of BU as Controllership of BU tag and support BU on process guidance, including being part of new process design or process change (together with Finance Operation & BU), partnering with BU & Finance Operations on process improvement and resolving issues pertaining to transactions, bookings clarifications base on adhoc request from BU.
• Other duties as assigned
• Draft segments of statements and reports and begin to handle assignments involving data analysis related to external and internal audit.
• Contribute input to new setup and changes in existing financial applications to optimize effectiveness.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Review and create standard accounting report packages under controllership’s scope.
• Apply accounting techniques and standard practices to classify and record financial transactions, including reviewing CRP (Control Report Package) and LLFSR (Lower Level Finance Statement Review), acting as key contact point for Corporate Finance or other function of any requirement related to finance and High level Balance Sheet Reconciliation review with Finance Operation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Other minimum qualifications may apply
• Bachelor’s degree in in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of related work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Fluent English
• Experience in Record to Report (General Accountant) and related finance processes
• Experience on shared service operations
• Experience of SAP
