Cost Controller & Fix Asset Officer

The Cost Controller & Fix Asset Officer is responsible to inspect all goods, equipment of all department to check quality, breakage or missing items and report accordingly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Cost Controller
Weekly
● Weekly Check the breakage items from all departments and raise Breakage Report
● Inspections of quality and state of items of other department stores such Mini bar/Guest supplies under Housekeeping.
● Prepare the weekly missing items report from guest room
Monthly:
● Coordinate with department to do the stock take for circulation stock such as glassware, chinaware, cutlery, linen and prepare the report.
Property and Fixed Asset Officer
The duties and responsibilities of a property and fixed asset accountant are:
● To evaluate and calculate the value depreciation of assets
● To inform and maintain the legal formalities also related to company. So has to form a liaison on behalf of the company with government agencies related to property and fixed assets
● To maintain and manage the records of the assets so will have to monitor property and fixed assets regularly, in addition to maintaining records of all previous valuation and fluctuation in prices
● To keep the knowledge of the latest economic, political and social scenario of the country in order to estimate the fluctuation of value of fixed assets
● To perform all the duties related to legalities so has to prepare tax statements and file returns for all assets
● To keep a very nice track about the assets such as how much assets are costing the company in terms of tax and maintenance expenses
● To prepare accounts and records regularly for acquisition of new assets
● To keep a perfection in maintaining the records so has to report to the management of the company and provide suggestions regarding further investments and prospects of existing assets

● Must possess good communications skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to work in a demanding, multi-task environment.
● Preference will be given to candidates currently pursuing an accounting designation (CGA, CMA, CA).
● Must have the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, joint venture partners and others.
● An understanding of hospitality accounting, PMS hotel operating system and strong computer skills is desirable. Working knowledge of Excel is a must.
● Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position in a 4* or 5* hotel
