CR Manager – Asia

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To manage the CR policies and requirements throughout vendor base .


• To measure, monitor, record & report the degree of vendor performance to Group CR policies & related key performance indicators.


• Work with all vendors to communicate and execute the CR strategy, encourage, monitor and facilitate vendors’ continual improvement plans .


• Formally evaluate new potential vendors degree of capability of implementation of compliance to Ensure the business is kept fully informed of outstanding issues with current or potential vendors and ensure support to effect resolution.


• The role with be working with vendors in different sourcing countries and with a globally located team.


• You will work closely with the global CR team and other business stakeholders internally and externally. You will lead a team to meet our professional membership requirements


• To stay up to date with legislation and best practice in ethical and environmental local legislation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Best practice in Social Auditing through the implementation of internationally respected codes of conduct.


• Health and safety best practice in a global manufacturing environment.


• Knowledge of environment and sustainability.


• Ability to communicate implement CR policies and various membership requirements 


• Effective at managing a team located in different countries. Ability to communicate technical information to vendors located in different regions.


• Ability to deal with complex technical and ethical issues in a professional manner.


• Able to work with CR data systems on factory and CR data including audit reports, CAPs and factory approval Good use of English language.


• Effective influencing skills. Analytical, process orientated, able to critically examine methods and to question data. Objective, impartial and independently minded.


• Knowledge of environment and sustainability programs.


• Good interpersonal skills
