Da Lat Homefarm Manager

Purpose and Job Summary
Oversee, managing, coordinating, developing and improving seed production in DaLat Homefarm for export and domestic both in greenhouse and open field to meet company’s requirement both quantity and quanlity, cost and timelines.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily seed production operation via company home-farm in Dalat,
Vietnam to meet company’s requirement both quantity, quality, and timeliness:
+ Harvest and seed extraction
+ Transplanting and cultivation: close follow up on crops with Managers on findings, ensure weeding, irrigation, staking, and pruning according to the farm policies
+ Knowledgeable and aware of proper chemical use, IPM, environmental issues.
+ Responsible on sowing activity
+ Pollination ensure rigorous pollination over the crop pollination time
- Ensure that the production cost is effective and in line with budget
- Supervise, motivate, support and guidance the work to production team
- Maintain respectful communication with colleagues and implementation o company policies
- Communication: timely production update (also estimation, and price) to related person/department
- Maintain good public relations with neighboring farms, and local authorities
- Ensure that business ethics, health and safety guidelines are followed
- Budgeting: estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with Man
- Organizing relevant training to production team

- MSc or higher degree in Horticultural / Agricultural sciences or similar area
- Must be proficient in both oral and written English
- Should be a team player and motivator.
- Should be flexible and willing to learn
- A strong personality with overview.
- Must be proactive.
- Experience and knowledge of vegetable seed production and farm management desired
