Data Analyst - Freshers Are Welcomed!

Role purpose:
Work with Google BigQuery database and Tableau (a BI tool) to produce actionable insight that can effectively inform design and business decisions for mobile game products.
Key Relationships:
-Internal: Game Designers, Developers, Marketers, CEO
-External: Service Providers (Google BigQuery, Google Cloud, Tableau Support Team…)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1/ Build Datasets:
•Compose queries on Google BigQuery to create datasets per design/business requests
•Optimize queries to improve execution performance and data quality
•Perform data test to validate data accuracy before visualizing
2/ Visualize data:
•Analyze statistical data from Bigquery using Tableau
•Work closely with Developers/ Game designers/ Marketers/ CEO to understand their needs and provide analytical solutions/insights accordingly
•Communicate your analysis of the game to the team, articulating the “why” behind the “what”
•Perform verification on the accuracy of insights before publishing for internal use.
3/ Research:
•Research new technologies/knowledge to stay up-to-date on the area of Business Intelligence
•Identify opportunities to leverage new data sources/features to improve existing or develop new insights
•Work cross-functionally within the organization to identify opportunities to leverage data/analytics to improve business operations and drive efficiencies

**Essential skills:
Your experience with Data analysis is a big plus, but we care much more about your passion, mindset, and willingness to learn.
•Basic knowledge of SQL is mandatory
•Experienced with Excel and BI tools like Tableau, Qlik… is desired, but not mandatory
•Possess good critical thinking and self-reasoning skill
•Possess a self-motivated, strong creative identity and holistic game-oriented analysis skill
