Data Engineer

Drcom is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, configure, and deploy the most powerful CDP solutions that the DRCOM can offer. We are looking for someone who loves data and working with clients to translate requirements into product technical solutions.
KEY DUTIES WILL BE:

Build systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data from CDP into usable information for NBA.
Interact with other members of all DRCOM teams to effectively handle customer questions and issues to be resolved
Work with client technical and business team members to gather requirements, map solutions, make recommendations, and craft the CDP solution.
Understand and translate the client’s marketing/business use cases to design an integration approach suitable to their needs

Job Requirements:
General

Experience with drawing meaningful conclusions from large sets of data
Ability to translate business requirements to product solutions
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills tailored to an audience of professionals, management and staff with a broad range of technical skills
Experience in designing and developing data processing pipelines using big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Spark, EMR, etc.)
Bachelor or Masters Degree or relevant work experience
Strong analytical and critical problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
Strong SQL skills (i.e Window Functions, Case Statements)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Hadoop, Hive QL, Impala.
Solid understanding of email service providers (e.g. Silverpop, ExactTarget, Responsys).
Experience with operational data systems (SAP, NetSuite, Magento).
Experience in analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, CoreMetrics, SiteCatalyst).
Experience in web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
