Data Engineering Manager (Scala/Agile)

• Play an integral role in data engineering and management - Drive project pipelines and focus on high level solution design and implementation on Data platforms. Design and deliver specialist solutions across data functions.


• Consult to understand business needs and translate those into technical outcomes relating to effective data solutions. Identify, interpret, and communicate meaningful insights, conclusions, and report to clients.


• Produce end-to-end data analytics and BI solutions, including Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, and Reporting using best-in-class data environment


• Support in house and external engineers with data platform configuration used for data ingestion, manipulation, extraction and cleansing (using Scala) Duration
   

• Project is long term and expected to be a minimum of one year  


• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Analysis, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology Work Experience


• Consulting and Solution Design across project-based work, which sees you architecting, designing, developing, and implementing new data platforms and analytics. Strong customer facing experience


• 5+ years of relevant experience in areas of data engineering and management


• Deep experience in querying databases and using SCALA programming languages - mandatory NeoStats Analytics Solutions, UAE


• Experience working in Agile teams to lead successful transformation projects, involved in the end-to-end planning to implementation
