Job Summary
The Data Science Engineer role is for a hybrid engineer/data scientist who understands analysis, modeling, and algorithms but prefers to focus on the technical aspects of building analytics capabilities. The position will play a key role in prototyping and productionizing tools and methods we will use to analyze digital streaming data and to provide data-driven decisions for our customers. The selected candidate knows how to analyze/model data and enjoys writing code to implement it.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
Demonstrated understanding of mainstream stats and ML methods;
Proficiency with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries;
Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models;
Must be familiar with basic security concepts or standards as appropriate for this position.
BS/MS in computer engineering or similar;
Understand and love code, data, and math;
Experience with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure is a plus;
Experience in commercial software development, including all stages of the software development lifecycle and tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA;
2-5 years of relevant experience;
Excellent Java programming skills;
Experience with source control systems, defect-tracking systems, automated unit and system test frameworks, and similar tools required;
