MISSION STATEMENT
Coordinate the implementation and steer profitably growing delivery service on country level
ROLES
- Participate on all decisions to be taken in order to develop profitable delivery business within the MCC country organization
- Preparation of delivery concept / MTP
- Suggestion on organization and staffing in the area of delivery service
- Steering adjustment of delivery concept & execution
KEY RESULT AREAS
Development of country delivery strategy and delivery Business case
Definition and validation of objectives with Regional Managers, Heads of Store & Field Operations and TGMs
Driving delivery activities throughout MCC country organization (as an interface between the store execution and local HO functions)
Being responsible for the implementation of delivery concept, i.e. functionally leading the organization’s and goods flow process´ set-up in stores, resulting to defined Service level and coordinating all related functions towards the objectives
Organization of regular meetings with Head of Regional Operations, Head of Store & Field Operations, TGMs, Senior Buyers, SCM, IM, DCM and DS Delivery to inform and exchange on progress in delivery business
Interact with following functions in local organization in terms of:
– with Buying to align on procurement of defined range
– with SCM / Logistics to align on goods ordering, goods receiving and replenishment in store / platform, transportation
– with Controlling to set up Business Case and create reporting
– with Finance to set up and implement the payment system and credit management
– with IM/IT to install and improve IT-support for delivery processes, maintenance and support
– with HR to align on recruitment and appropriate delivery training of all involved resources
– with Operations to align on sales approach (1-2-1), store operations, lay-out, FO&SO organization and investment to assets (construction & fittings)
– with TGM/Marketing about customer target groups, acquisition, assortments, pricing, promotion, services, communication and competitors
– with Quality Assurance align HACCP standards for processes & products & staff in the delivery area
– with Internal Audit about all processes to ensure the right independent control within the entire scope of delivery service
Monitor delivery execution & results (weekly, monthly and quarterly) and take actions to improve if necessary
Performance indicator : delivery sales / sales share, CM1, Service Level

Internal: Operations Director, Regional Managers, Head of Store Operations and Field Operations, DC Managers, HR-Department, Buying Department, TGM, Marketing, SCM / Logistics, IT/IM, Controlling
External: Work Council (where available), External Partners (e.g. Workforce Agent, Customers, Associations, Suppliers, Logistics Service Providers)
