[Department Head] Lecturer- Department of Biomedical Engineering

For PhD holder/ Department Head:
-Being mainly responsible and accountable for developing training programs, setting and managing the Department in line with the Faculty and University strategic plans and direction.
-Being an active member of the Faculty Executive Board and contribute to the overall leadership and management of the Faculty
-Updating teaching methodology, methods of student assessment, and scientific research orientation.
-Demonstrating teaching and mentoring ability at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
-Establishing and maintaining networking with other universities/ hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City to bring the best training quality to the students of Hong Bang International University.
-Doing other tasks assigned by the Faculty Head and the University’s Board of Management

For Department Head
-Applicants must have a PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field, preferably graduate from foreign universities.
-A minimum of 5 years of experience of teaching at universities.
Preferred: Lecturers working in international universities, with experience of teaching specialised subjects in English
-Leadership skills; analytical skills and problems solving skills.
-Able to communicate and work constructively with management and colleagues to establish and achieve mutual goals.
Other requirements
-Previous experience in medical product development and medical device design controls is highly desirable
-Understanding of mechatronic engineering/biomedical engineering practices;
-Certificate of pedagogical training for university/ college lecturers
-Certificate of clinical teaching methodology
-Practicing Certificate
-English: Level B2 (CEFR)
-Computer skills: Proficient
-Age: 35 - 60 for PhD holders; or 30 - 45 for Master holders
