Development, Industrialization & Quality Production Leader (Ho Chi Minh)

MISSION
As your products are produced at your suppliers’ site, you develop your supplier‘s expertise to produce good quality products within short lead times and at a low cost.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Development:
- Build and manage the development planning.
- Coordinate the sample development between the headquarters and factories.
- Control and validate the quality of your samples.
Purchase:
- Negotiate the price of your products.
- Make quotations for new products to expand your business.
- Analyze the cost breakdown of the products.
Industrialization:
- Optimize the first production to ensure the quality and the technicity of the mass production
- Follow up and support the factory to improve production efficiency
- Continuous improvement: Improve and optimize the production processes
Quality Management:
- Ensure that Decathlon Compliance standards and the local regulation are respected, in terms of quality, safety, environment, toxicology, and social compliance.
- Control the Quality of the Products in lines and before shipment
- Coach and train the Quality Team of your suppliers
- Improve the Quality system of your suppliers

WHAT YOU OFFER US:
- Strong team spirit
- You have at least 3 years of experience in the production field ( factory or customer side )
- Strong in Product Development
- Business mindset & result-oriented to expand your scope of business.
- Detail-oriented & work well with numbers (for product costing).
- Good know-how in Rubber - Ball production is a plus
- Have a passion for Sports (Hiking/Trekking is a plus)
- Good English communication skills (Chinese speaking is a plus)
- You love to go to a factory. Site visit to factories 2-3 times per week.
- Understanding of production process of Backpacks, Bag, Tent.
- Good communications & negotiation skills.
- Able to make decisions & influence others.
