General Requirements
• Certified in cloud computing (professional levels: Solution architect, DevOps engineer, Security, Network)
• CICD tools hands- on experience (Spinnaker, Ansible, Chef).
• Knowledge of technology best practices for building a modern automated DevOps platform.
• Good understanding of technologies and experience in building a highly scalable and fault tolerant system.
• Proficiency in the development (Java/Scala/Kotlin, Python, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3) and Strong scripting skills.
• Strong understanding and practice Agile/Lean projects SCRUM, KANBAN etc.
• Self- starter, capable of working without direction and able to deliver projects from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX and TCP/IP Subnet.
• Breadth of knowledge – operating systems, networking, distributed computing, cloud computing.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Practical knowledge with Git flow, Trunk and GitHub flow branching strategies.
• Container management and container orchestration experience – Docker, Kubernetes.
• Monitoring tools Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
• DevOps toolchain experience (GitHub, CircleCI, Artifactory, SonarQube).
• Distributed system knowledge applicable to a microservice architecture.
• Cloud computing deployment and management experience (AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure) via Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement highly available, multi- region solutions within Microsoft Azure
• Develop and implement policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data loss
• Manage security and access controls of cloud- based solutions
• Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized
• Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) leveraging cloud native tooling to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments
• Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security
• Migrate existing infrastructure services to cloud- based solutions
• Participate in a 24/7 on- call rotation to address and resolve technical escalations
• Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements
• Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards
