Direct Material Purchaser (Technical Buyer)

- Implement global and/ or area material field strategy for Vietnam
- Support in bundling of area / global material field demands, establish VN suppliers for export business
- Central contact person for material field buyers for all VN related supplier / country topics
- Supplier scouting and selection according to selected focus products in Vietnam
- Yearly supplier assessment and evaluation (Cost, Quality, Logistic etc.)
- Crisis and Risk Management
- Supplier development and / or improvement together with PUQ function
- SRM supplier master data management and update (certificate, contact details etc.)
- Responsible for supplier mentor for assigned suppliers in Vietnam and be the supplier escalation management
- Responsible for supplier logistic performance management
- Execute annual price negotiations (RFQ, negotiation, documentation)
- Award range extensions (Negotiation, Sourcing Decision and CoQ)
- Participate in (global) tender activities
- Responsibility for all relevant contracts: Purchasing agreement, T&C, QAA, LOG agreement etc.
- Perform contract renewals and update prices in respective system
- Target business plan - measurement planning and target fulfillment
- Creation and updating of RPP tracking file
- Rolling PICO update & Regional input for Current Forecast (CF) procedure

University degree bachelor of Business Administration / Commerce / Engineering preferred
Preferably minimum 3 years in Automotive/ Technical Products/ Trade goods industry
- Experience with purchasing processes
- Having international job experience
- Purchasing and negotiation experience & general technical understanding
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of staff, good team player
- Strong curiosity to investigate & logical thinking & own drive
- Fluent English. Other additional language, in particular Chinese advantageous
- Willingness to travel
- Proficient in English in both speaking and writing skills
