Discipline Manager - Mechanical (Hvac)

Manage the discipline service for projects (Mechanical). Responsible for daily work activities of engineers assigned to the particular projects. Assist Director in all aspects of relate to projects and the business.
Context
Your Job
• Cooperate with other team leaders/seniors to complete jobs when necessary.
• Contact directly with contractors/investors/ suppliers base on each project.
• Reports directly to Project Manager, Project Leader and Director.
• Work closely with Client, and other designers to follow project strictly, though work internally most of time.
• Lead the Mechanical Design Engineers of 20 members. Working with 04 other internal teams for projects.
• Travel on business trips occasionally depending on location of projects if need, mainly local or Asia.
• Workplace: main office in HCMC.
Job Content
• Answer, consult clients’ concerns, give advice for the best solutions.
• Ensure that plan of projects (cost, timeline, quality, etc.) is followed and completed.
• Resolve problems involved discipline engineering of team members.
• Allocate jobs to team members and supervise daily works.
• Work to complete the discipline service of projects and achieve satisfaction from company and client.
• Support outsourcing team of company.
• Supervise, manage work process and output.
• Recruit and train new engineers on jobs.
• Occasionally support paper works of team such as submission of dossiers to local authority.
• Lead discipline team to ensure that deliverables meet deadline and quality standard.
• Support procedures with local authority in technical issues to gain authority certificates.

• Should have knowledge of Mechanical systems like HVAC
• Good in MS office.
• Good expertise knowledge to discuss/negotiate/consult
• At least 5-8 years’ experience in the discipline sector.
• Experience using AUTOCAD and REVIT or similar design software
• Good command in English
• Expertise in discipline service to discuss, consult, present, negotiate with clients.
• Teamwork, management and planning skill.
• High-responsibility, ability to work under high pressure.
• Communication, leadership, ability to work under high pressure.
• Be able to go to detail, be careful and meticulous.
• Graduated Bachelor’s Degree in the required discipline.
• Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
