Electric and Instrument Supervisor

Supervisor (for Electrical Work and Instrument & Control Work)
- Support activities of E&I Superintendent (SI) and Construction manager (CM)
Co-work with CM, SI and subcontractors.
Execute supervision of installation work based on instruction from SI &CM
- Supervise Subcontractor’s work.
Coordinate with Design Engineer (Indian Engineer) to solve design mistake (including Manufacturer’s mistake), or construction frailer.
Handle daily work report including head counts.
Review of Shop DWG from Subcontractor (Cable Layout, Cable Schedule, Lighting Layout) based on Design DWG and Vendor’s Electrical & Control DWG.
Monitor subcontractor’s work progress and report it to E&I SI.
Coordination of works with other parties. (Daily, weekly and monthly.)
Monitoring subcontractor’s work and reporting its progress and issues.
Prepare necessary information for Quantity Surveyor to calculate work progress.
Monitoring and reporting of status of drawing, material, labors and construction equipment.
- Field Change / Document Control
Monitor and record the status of Field Change Sheet and Site Instruction.
Feedback the actual site condition and gap of design drawing to Design Team.
Ensure the construction work is executed with the latest IFC (Issued for construction) drawing and Field Change.
- Quality Control
Monitor work sequence and workmanship of subcontractor’s site work if they followed the installation procedure and method statement.
Prepare report to DCM and/or QCM against non-conformance items.
Support subcontractor’s activities such as test and inspection based on quality requirement.
- HSE Management
Take action to maintain the working area and site in safe condition.
Execute and facilitate preventive activities for HSE.
Support and co-work with HSE Gr. of JFE.
- Material Control
Supervise subcontractor’s activities for equipment and material preservation.
Execute inventory check and other necessary activities with subcontractor’s material control team and JFE Material Controller.
Monitor and support subcontractor’s site material control activities.
- Documentation
Prepare and coordinate all necessary documents for above activities.
- Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning.
Coordinate with DCS engineer to do logic/interlock test
Perform loop check, calibration of control valve, motor operated Valve (MOV), CEMS system…
Perform MCC/VFD testing & operation
Perform LOTO work for Electrical part

Work location: Bac Ninh, Viet Nam
To Perform other job-related duties as necessary or assigned by E&I SI and CM from time to time.

- Experience in pre-commissioning & commissioning: Loop check, Control valve/MOV calibration, Instrument calibration, MV SWGR, MCC Testing, VFD setting & configuration.
- Computer literate including intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office
- Experience with Short Circuit Calculation & Analysis, Voltage Drop Calculation to review Cable Schedule DWG.
- At least five years’ experience in construction projects with international contractors
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- At least five years’ experience of Electrical Work and Instrument & Control Work at Oil & Gas Plant or Thermal Power Plant or, Waste to Energy Plant Project.
- Experience of Illumination Calculation to review Lighting Layout.
- University Degree in Technical (Electrical/Instrumentation/Control Dept.)/ Engineering/ Project Management is preferred (not a must)
