Electrical Project Engineer

Executive recruitment specialist Monroe Consulting Group Vietnam is recruiting on behalf of a well-known worldwide company in the power distribution field. Our client is seeking a professional with at least 3 years of experience in Power Distribution or Power Equipment for the role of Electrical Project Engineer. The job will base in Hai Phong and report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Job Summary:

The Electrical Project Engineer will be a key person in developing an efficient power network design with proper cost control in order to deliver good progress on the company’s project

Job Responsibilities:

• Be a core member of the Engineering Department

• Build up investment plan for network planning

• Create designs and budget plans with defined technical specifications for up-coming project

• Work closely with out-sourcing vendors on technical specifications and designs as well as evaluate their performance

• In charge of the submitting and receiving approval from Government Agencies

• Review purchasing and construction contracts

• Set up and supervise time-line for the project to make sure the expected progress is met and carry out corrective actions to keep the project on track

• Supervise the construction process of the project

• Set up and manage protection relay coordination

• Work with other project management teams in the project

• Confirm Acceptance inspection report, payment request for suppliers, vendors, etc.

• Education background in Electrical Engineering or similar.

• At least 3 years of working experience in the power distribution/transmission or power equipment

• Strong technical competency, ability to understand principle of power networks and distribution

• High level of professionalism, integrity oriented, positive attitude

• Good communication skills, strong interpersonal, presentation skills

• Ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and vendors

• Can perform well independently or as a team member with minimal supervision

• Speake native Vietnamese and good English skills (both verbal and written)

• Highly familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, etc.
