Engineering Coordinator

To assist the Chief Engineer in the implementation of any programme for the further development of the hotel.
To maintain orderliness in the office
To translate the contracts and in coming letters into English when needed
To type and to keep records of work orders, reports, letters, contracts and Information Bulletins
To have a full understanding of the hotel’s policies and procedures, Occupational Health & Safety issues, Fire Emergency procedure and other policies that may be issued.
To check e-mail inbox and to reply to the concerned person or contractors as per Chief Engineer ’s instruction.
To check and order gas and diesel oil to maintain hotel smooth operation
Not to carry out non-routine work without the prior assignment from Chief Engineer/Assistant Chief Engineer.
To raise question if in doubt when being given task or to refuse the task if realizing it is out of capability.
To follow up and to raise purchase request for technical materials
To check and note all the spare parts, tools, keys which stored or taken out from the Engineering office
To answer phone calls and act as the Department’s receptionist
To initiate requisition to maintain an adequate stocks of office supplies for the department
To prepare the monthly attendance record for Engineering Department
