Engineering Manager

Talent Success's client is a multinational corporation.

The Country Engineering Manager plays an important management role that is essential to the company in ensuring smooth daily operation and management of tasks/projects for the business.

• Engage as a business partner with business and technology leaders; identify win-win solutions, frame decisions for senior leaders to make trade offs, and build trust with peers and senior leaders


• Take ownership of your team’s execution, identifying and removing blockers/bottlenecks 


• Delegate assignments and lead resource allocation for your team


• Lead a team of individual contributors to execute and drive success on projects and/or global application support within your functional domain


• Perform audits to ensure all assets information and change of asset status are being recorded into the asset management system by managed services IT vendor


• Assist to conduct analysis and plan necessary resources at least 6 months in advance – people, money – required to deliver technology solutions to the business


• Contribute to the execution of IT governance and compliance processes and procedures 
  Involved regionally and work with other OUR teams to provide operational perspective on products and services


• Rotational pager duty shifts to support business needs
  Initiative in building new ways of working to improve operational excellence

Must-have skill:

• At least 7 years in supporting operations or related in the IT or Technology sector with at least 2 years of people management experience


• Able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced working environment


• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred skills and experiences:

• Experience in managing the IT team and stakeholders


• Experience in managing IT projects


• Lead in writing guideline and SOPs
