Environmental Engineer

Internal Job Title: Engineer - FCM (Facilities Management) - Function: Environmental Engineering
Solid waste management (80%)
- Planning and controlling the budget for waste disposal and treatment to avoid cost overruns.
- Monitoring the quality and performance of waste treatment services, including contract management of external suppliers.
- Supervising the transportation of waste to ensure that it takes place without contaminating air, land or water sources;
- Maintaining accurate and on-time process data;
- Patrolling, auditing to ensure the operations in compliance with Central directives and local legislation in the transportation, handling and disposal of waste;
- Consulting with other departments, Management about waste management issues, identifying their requirements and providing appropriate solutions;
- Organizing and managing waste disposal, collection and recycling programs
Problem solving expert (10%)
- Representing FCM in problem solving programs at plant-level
- Providing trainings, consultancy for FCM associates about problem solving methodology
- Proactively joining problem solving projects in FCM
Additional tasks assigned by supervisor to support HcP projects, events (10%)

EDUCATION BACKGROUND & WORK EXPERIENCES
- 2-year experience in environmental management and auditing; waste management, audit, strategies
- Bachelor&039;s degree qualifications in environmental science or environmental engineering discipline;

- Analytical: able to analyze the situation from a broad perspective, recognizing important information and make a distinction between major and minor causes.

- Good command of English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point
