Environmental, Health, and Safety Engineer (Working in Cam Pha-Quang Ninh)

*Job Summary
The position will be responsible for the implementation and supervision of the maintenance and protection of the Environment and implementation of Safety Procedures. He/she will also act as coordinator for the implementation of other related Environmental and Safety Programs to keep those in line with all the standards/regulations as set by the law of Vietnam and by the company, the corporate overall activities of AES Mong Duong Power Plant.
*Accountabilities
The incumbent will be responsible to ensure compliance of Mong Duong Power Company Environmental, Health and Safety compliance to all parties and ensure all permits and procedures are updated. He will be responsible for implementing the management of the environment, health, and safety in the company.
*Key Result Areas
Maintain EHS records as per the requirement of AES Mong Duong EHS procedures.
Conduct of Monitoring: Assists in the conduct of monitoring and other related monitoring activities
May perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Establish OSH Auditing procedure at AES Mong Duong.
Initiate, coordinate and develop HSE-related training programs.
Help establish a world class safety culture at AES Mong Duong.
EMS Implementation: Assists in the establishment and implementation of the Environmental Management System
Implement the environmental monitoring program and report to DONRE; MONRE; lender and other stakeholders as EIA requirements;
Maintain company environment permits and monthly reporting to governments & other stakeholders.
Programs Implementation: Closely coordinate with the Operations, Maintenance, and Other Support Groups in the implementation of Solid Waste, Hazardous Waste Management and other related Environmental Programs
Implement Safety management plan, Environment management plan, EHS procedures and internal/ external reporting during Plant Constructions and Operations.
Compliance: Strictly complies with corporate governance and principles, such as but not limited to Housekeeping, Safety, Environmental, and Code of Conduct and Discipline
Implement Best practices in EHS in AES plants around the world and implement them at AES Mong Duong.

Job Specifications / Competencies
Must have experience of the implementation of EHS procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in Environment / Safety Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of Incident investigation.
Management of contractors in Operational plant.
Must have experience of conducting Risk assessment and Env Aspect Impact Assessment (AIA) of operational plant. Implementation & review).
Has a positive attitude & strong advocacy of safe work practices and procedures
Has excellent English reading and writing skills.
Management of Change (MoC) process.
Good understanding of local and international Environmental regulations
Must possess proficient skills in Microsoft Office software
At least 8 years of experience in Operational plant / Industry.
Knowledge of Lock-out & Tag-out (LOTO).
Must have reasonable communication and interpersonal skills.
