Field Service Technician

Supervise Krones equipment and Krones partner equipment installation according company standards.
Actively participate in problem solving to analyze the cause of disorders. Be able to issue disorder reports.
Identify and rectify disorders, if necessary with support.
Support sales department in their activities.
Provide technical support to customers.
Execute machine overhauls and re-setup machines after completion.
Perform troubleshooting on the Krones range of individual machines and also partner companies with their supplied equipment.
Set up and commission individual machines of the Krones product portfolio depending on the technical specialization of the technician (e.g. filling technology) under the guidance of an experienced service technician at the beginning and later independently.
Promote machine upgrade option to customers.
Support the improvement of quality to companywide quality standards.
Work independently and autonomously on a task and within the working environment.
Inspect machines for overhaul and spare parts.
Encourage measures regarding process/procedure optimization; to advise and implement to develop and optimize work stages.
Provide technical training to machine operators at the customer’s site.
Actively assist when it comes to design changes/improvements in collaboration with the designer.
Take over any further task within Krones Vietnam service department requested by head of department.

• Ability to work under pressure.
• Solid technical understanding of food and beverage industry is preferred.
• Problem solving competence.
• Capacity of teamwork with different departments.
• Good English language skills for internal communication.
• High social competence and good communication skills.
• Profound understanding of mechanical drawings and part lists.
• Profound knowledge in bus and network systems and pneumatics.
• Basic understanding of fluid technology and knowledge in pneumatics.
• Basic organisation and time management skills.
• Bachelor or higher in technical field (mechanical, mechatronics, automation or similar).
• Experience in field service preferred.
• Self-confident and friendly manner.
• Profound knowledge in drive technologies (e.g Danfoss, B&R,…).
• Profound knowledge in Siemens control systems (S7/TIA).
• Willingness to travel extensively in Vietnam and also abroad.
• Holistic and cross-functional thinking.
