Finance & Accounting Manager

Vietnam Investments (VI) Group is looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager to work at our portfolio company - Sylvan Learning with a focus on executing and performing the work of the Finance & Accounting department under the direction of the CEO to ensure the completion of the common duties of the department, and the stable development of the company:
The work belongs to specialized, detailed financial accounting skills
• Make and submit tax reports as prescribed, responsible for accounting tax accounts.
• Check the accounting of the accountants, make monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Do accounting for the following segments:
Deferred revenue (3387)
Accrued expenses and other expenses
Salary, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance o Inventory and fixed assets
The work belongs to team management and strategy planning skills
• Assist BoM with strategy planning and other ad-hoc assignments (mainly providing financial data and information, and preparing reports on demand of VIG or BoM)
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. Keep track of financial accounting activities of the company for timely reminders or alerts.
• Review the detail and reasonableness of the daily expenses and weekly payments
• Responsible for data collection, annual budgeting, and budget adjustments per BoM requested
• Set up accounting and financial procedures, and internal control activities
• Forecast monthly capital demand and update cash flow monthly
• Control and review monthly internal management reports and accounting data
• Working with auditing agencies, tax authorities, and other agencies involved in finance and accounting

• Skills in making and presenting management reports, and budgeting.
• BA in Accounting and Chief Accountant certificate is required.
• Management skills.
• Independent working and teamwork skills.
• 2+ years in equivalent role.
• Financial analysis skills.
