FINANCE DIRECTOR

• Oversee year-end audit with auditors and administrators
• Oversee internal regulation and compliance for management company and the fund
• Approve and process and of all types of management company transactions including billing and payroll
• Annual budget planning
• Ensure company operations are in compliance with Vietnamese business regulations (e.g. legal, financial, tax)
• Oversee Investor Relation and Financial Reporting activities
• Manage and coach Company’s accounting staff; identify and propose additional staffing needs to MDs as appropriate
• Provide advice and hands-on assistance to subsidiaries on a number of finance & accounting issues, including:
• Establishing accounting policies
• Setting up accounting and financial reporting systems, including management reports
• Designing process and outputs for annual business planning and budgeting
• Managing internal risks and setting up internal controls
• Hiring and overseeing auditors and tax advisors
• Selecting and implementing accounting software
• Preparing reports presentations to shareholders, investors and potential partners, including assisting portfolio companies with their annual reports and annual shareholders’ meetings
• Provide training & coaching for both CANFOCO and its subsidiaries on best-practices finance & accounting issues
• Provide leadership and/or support on finance & accounting projects for CANFOCO as required

Professional and Educational Experience: 
• 7+ years in financial management role, preferably as CFO, Finance Manager or Chief Accountant or Senior Manager or Director level at major audit / financial advisory firm 
• 3+ years of financial advisory experience in a top-tier audit / financial advisory firm is a strong plus 
• Strong knowledge and established experience in all aspects of accounting; experience with fund accounting is not required but a plus 
• Experience with Controller functions of A/P, A/R, and Billing, inventory management as well as financial management to include sales tax, insurance, payroll management, sales analysis, pricing and financial statements
