- Lead all audit and tax functions, including but not limited to research and recommend international tax strategies that align with business goals and identify areas of tax reductions and savings; Complete regular tax reports, estimates and track tax returns in a multi-jurisdictional environment;
- Ensure monthly of accounting records is done in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and regulations
- Checking general ledger, inventory lists, payable and receivable accounts. Manage perform regular reconciliation of general ledger accounts (both P&L and Balance Sheet)
- Monitor the quality of financial and accounting operations within the company to ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements;
- Daily check and manage all transactions (accounts payable and receivable, banks, expenditure allocation, revenue...) and ensure that expenditures are properly, accurately and timely allocated.
- Manage inventory, cost of goods sold, fixed assets, GL, expenditure by cost center.
- Deal with Tax Department and other Vietnam authorities when requested. Assist and liaise with tax officer on year end audits
- Develop and document business processes and finance/accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
- Prepares monthly bank reconciliations with bank statements to ensure that all cash disbursed and received was accurately accounted for.
- Line management, training and personal development of accounting staff.
- Reporting - Lead comprehensive reporting, analysis and projections of financials. Develop and enhance the management information system to track business performance, identify trends, and proactively engage with department heads to support greater company value creation;
- General management of accounting operations and accountant staffs each member companies
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures;
- Manages overall accounting and book-keeping for the organizational financial transactions and ensures that financial records are up to date and accurate.
- Responsible for planning, budgeting, organization, and implementation of procedures for fiscal reporting and administration, risk management, cash management and banking relationships.
- Budgeting - Lead the development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plans and modeling tools to support leadership team with strategic decisions;
- Managing PIT, CIT, VAT, reports and other tax correspondences for the tax department, etc.
